A two or three unit CubeSat, together with a scientific payload of the faculty of physics, was among the first ideas and concepts for MOVE-II.
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi), following a decision of the German Bundestag, via the German Aerospace Center (DLR) with funding grant number 50 RM 1509.
The SDR shall propose the system architecture and design.
The PDR shall demonstrate that the preliminary design meets all our system requirements and provides the basis for proceeding with the detailed design.
The CDR shall demonstrate that our detailed design is sufficient to proceed with full-scale production, assembly, integration, and test. The technical effort is on track to complete the flight and ground system development and mission operations.
This milestone was intended to stop the main subsystem development. Big changes and “nice-to-have” features have to be avioded to in order to test the existent system extensively.
End of November, the testing and debugging phase of our satellite is finished. MOVE-II ready for delivery.
